Reporting to the Divisional Director, the Service Support Manager is responsible for the first line management of all staff, promoting the company brand through compliance of policies and procedures with a fair and consistent approach. You will be the integral link between security officers on the ground and senior management, as well as the client’s primary point of contact.

• To manage clients and contracts by communicating effectively and being able to identify the needs of the client and then taking the required next steps
• To Manage all Service Delivery Managers and Security Staff
• To monitor the rostering of staff, ensuring that all staff are aware of their rotas and the rostering system is updated accordingly. Ensuring that cover is arranged for sickness and rostering failures
• To support the Divisional Director when he is absent on duty
• To report to the Divisional Director as and when required regarding operational and staffing issues
• To assist in employee investigations and disciplinary action with the appointed HR Manager when required
• To complete periodic staff reviews and appraisals
• To conduct site surveys, Health & Safety assessments and formulate specific assignment instructions
• To assist in Invoice management and financial duties as advised
• To perform the duties of Fleet Management with regards to departmental vehicles
• To ensure company policies and procedures are adhered to in house and on site
• Any other duties as requested by the company in the capacity of this role

• Valid SIA front line licence
• Experience of managing security operations including Manned Guarding, Mobile Patrols, Key Holding and Alarm Response
• Good working knowledge of Quality ISO9001, British Standards BS7499, BS7984 & BS7858
• Experienced in carrying out internal audits
• Experienced in carrying out SIA Approved Contractor status inspection via third party
• Excellent people interaction skills. Must possess the ability to operate flexibly to adapt to changing circumstances sometimes working under pressure prioritising busy workloads of yourself and key reports
• A decisive and assertive decision maker who can interpret situations to action accordingly further to prioritisation
• To produce regular update reports including weekly audits on all security activities and present to the Divisional Director on the function and business –related issues
• Incident investigation, response and management
• Excellent interpersonal skills, to liaise with security officers, managers, directors, clients and local authorities daily
• Commercial awareness of cost implications for decision making implications
