WE'VE BEEN LISTENING AND HAVE ADDED A NUMBER OF NEW FEATURES TO THE SITE

You can now set your vacancies up so that all Candidates applying for them will get an automated response. You can choose the wording of your choice. Another new feature implemented is that all vacancies posted on the site will automatically expire after 30 days. Consultants can chose to receive an email informing them of what jobs will expire and they then have the choice to either re-date or allow to expire. We can also set up vacancy templates for you, this allows consistency in your advertised roles, and ease of posting for your Consultants. UPDATES TO THE SITE FOR RECRUITERS

Over the past few weeks, SecurityVacancies has been putting into place some changes to the site. Firstly you will now notice that candidates can only apply for your vacancy once. Once they have registered their email address to your vacancy they will not be able to send another application through. Candidates will get a message telling them they have already applied for this vacancy. Secondly here at SecurityVacancies we have noticed an increase in job vacancies being posted in the Events sector for Stewards, to this end we have added a new industry category in the back office "Events & Stewards". We are in the process of looking at more additions and improvements to the site and are always grateful for suggestions as we continue to invest in innovative new developments.

SECURITYVACANCIES.COM INNOVATES AGAIN

SecurityVacancies.com is the only site that allows clients to only receive SIA Licenced applicants. We are now offering a further service in filtering out all candidates who do not meet your specific requirements. Whether it be lack of appropriate experience or the applicants location you tell us what you require and we will ensure that you only receive candidates that meet your specification.

Changes to SecurityVacancies.com

Many of the guarding positions advertised on SecurityVacancies.com require applicants to have an SIA License. To assist advertisers in only receiving applications from candidates with a valid license we have introduced a new field which when ticked requires any applicant to complete a 16 digit field with their SIA license number. Only then will their application come through to the advertiser. When adding a job to the site you can tick the new field "SIA Number" and when ticked the applications screen will automatically require an SIA License Number on application. All web based job boards suffer from unqualified candidates applying and we are keen to continually strive to improve both the quantity but as importantly the quality of applicants and hope that this will prove a popular and successful addition to the site.

HAVE A DIRECT LINK TO YOUR ON-LINE RECRUITMENT PAGE

www.securityvacancies.com can now offer Companies on-line adverts with a direct link through to your recruitment page or application form. Have a generic advert on www.securityvacancies.com and direct candidates straight through to your website without having to deal with on line applications. TIPS FOR UPLOADING YOUR VACANCIES

When putting your vacancies up on the site, ensure you completely fill the keyword box. Once your vacancies are on the site they will be automatically emailed out over night to all relevant candidates. Re-date your jobs weekly. This will ensure that your jobs come top of the candidate search. Try to fill in all the boxes when you upload your jobs, i.e. salary and any benefits that come with the position, like vehicle, uniform, number of days leave etc. Please don't hesitate to call securityvacancies if you would like help with any of the above.
