Security Officer located at Stonehenge, Wiltshire
Hours: Guaranteed 42 hour per week contract
Pay rate of £8.76 per hour
A vacancy has arisen due to a change in manning and as a result we are looking for a core officer to join our existing Security Team working on site.
The role will require to an excellent level of customer service and diligence to the constant threat of possible security breaches, at a high profile English Heritage Site.
Delivering security of the highest level.
As a core Security Officer you will be required to be trained on the sites specific requirements.
Duties will include following all necessary requirements as per the Physical Security Manual, Assignment Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures to ensure the security and safety of the clients’ people, premises and property, responsible for conducting patrols and inspections, operating Access Control systems, Emergency Incident Response and maintaining accurate records of any incidents that may occur. Ensuring all Health and Safety policies are adhered to.
Duties will include:
- Access control
- Internal and external patrols
- CCTV monitoring
- Front of House cover
- Compliance with assignment Instructions
- Ensure the proper execution of all security tasks and that all security posts are properly manned
- Support and escalate out of hours incidents.

SIA Licence (Security Guarding, Door Supervision or Close Protection)

The successful applicant will be punctual, reliable and be able to adopt a flexible approach. Smart, well- groomed and confident with the ability to provide a high level of customer care at all times. Providing excellent customer service is essential. Have a confident knowledge of Conflict Management, Security Systems and Telephone/ Switchboard experience is advantageous.
