An exciting opportunity is available to support (primarily) the dedicated Security/Janitor/Driver Team within a Student/College environment, based at the North East Scotland College (NESCol),

Security/Janitor/Driver Operative

Predominantly day shifts, does include nights & weekends

10 to 12hr shifts, sickness, holiday, extra support cover

Pay rate of £8.89 per hour

First Aid & Defibrillator training/certificate
CCTV Public Space Surveillance (Scotland) training/certificate
Annual Project Griffin training/certificate
Support SIA License renewal

The ideal candidate will have the following key requirements:
Previous experience within a customer facing role
Previous security experience
H&S conscious, eager to intervene and make suggestions
Team player, can think fast and problem solve
Physical fitness, Campus is 45,000sqft over 9 floors

You will be expected to lead by example, be customer focused, and confidently deal with an often challenging customer base
The Security Team delivers the following absolutely critical roles/services:
Approachable at all times to provide assistance to general queries
Access control / traffic management
First Aid – first responder
Incident Response, escalate and liaise with Emergency Services, report writing
Control/monitor access to contractors
Patrols – highly visible
