ISS Facility Services - Security are seeking an Area Support Manager based in the Midlands region on a Full Time Permanent basis 60 Hours Per week pre-dominantly Nights and Weekends to include Public/Bank Holidays with reactive changes to week day working as required by operational demand.
The role will be regional based covering a portfolio of client sites in areas ranging from Coventry/Banbury to North Yorkshire. A company pool vehicle and fuel card will be provided as part of the role in addition to your salary, as well as a company laptop and mobile phone for business use.
The Area Support Manager is to ensure that operationally agreed duties and practices are met and expedited to the satisfaction of the client on all sites. The ASM is also responsible for the correct escalation of any incidents and accidents within the region and ensuring correct escalation to the Area Manager and Business whilst ensuring that all functions within the sites are monitored and managed correctly.
Also responsible ensuring the contract output specification, with an emphasis on Operational Support for the Area Manager and Account Manager, with an emphasis on excellent quality and support through effective communication and customer care
To manage and support the Area Manager and Account Manager in ensuring operational effectiveness within the regional portfolio. To be the first point of contact for effective incident and accident management and responsible for all escalation to the Area Manager and Security Division.
The ASM will be completing weekly visits to all sites within a define set of KPI’s and visit targets, completing site compliance audits, quality inspections on Security Officers, Health and Safety and Welfare visits, investigations, grievance and disciplinary action.
The ASM will also review and complete Assignment Instructions in line with compliance requirements, health and safety documentation including work place health and safety risk assessments and method statements, annual appraisals, job chats and ensuring that adequate manning levels are maintained at all times.
To report all breaches of Security and Incidents that will impact the running of the building.
Managing and ensuring the Physical Security, protection of client assets and people.
Understanding and fully compliant with all compliance and regulatory requirements in line with the Security Industry Authority (SIA
Provide Operational support and act as a first point of contact out of hours as required.
Assist and be a point of contact for out of hours for Incident Management, ensuring that incidents are correctly managed and escalated as per client specifications.
Ensure daily duty roster is created in a timely manner and adjusted as required.
Other day-to-day responsibilities as dictated by circumstances and the needs of the business and our clients.
Ensuring that all equipment issued to assist Security Officers is fully operational with any issues reported to site leads, Account leads and Area Manager
Provide out of hours leadership to Security Officers
Any other duties that may be reasonably required.
Cover for Area Manager as and when required.
Conduct frequent out of hours visits

? SIA Security Guarding or Door Supervisor Front Line Licence
? 5 years + Management experience (high level) within the Security Industry.

The successful candidate for the role of Area Support Manager in the Midlands, will ideally have a strong understanding of systems and a proven track record in the Security Industry and quality procedures. The candidate must also possess the ability to assist in the production of reports, processes and procedures.
