Position: Control Room / Customer Service Operator
Location: Enfield, Greater London
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: between 36-48hrs per week, based on a shift pattern of 4 days, 4 nights, 4 days off
Salary: £8.50 - £10.50 depending on experience

This role is critical in supporting our day-to-day frontline operational workforce. A typical day in our busy control room would be looking after our Guards welfare while at work, monitor Guards arriving in good time for their shifts and ensure any identified gaps in rosters are covered in good time. You will provide support to the Guards via telephone or email on a variety of day-to-day matters.
Also key in this role is keeping all the Contracts Managers informed regarding any concerns raised in the control room or, unusual activity reports, for their sites. This could be via telephone, emails or writing up incident reports.
We are looking for someone with a strong sense of fun, a reliable team player who works well under pressure, who really understands customer service, and can navigate multiple systems at the same time, will succeed quickly in this role.
- Working in customer services within a call centre or control room and dealing with volume calls and enquiries
- Maintaining a database for accurate and real-time activity recording
- Experience of composing emails and preparing incident reports
- Proactively uses initiative to recognise priorities within own workload
- Written and oral communication.
- Basic report writing
- Fast navigation of database / IT packages
