Job Description
The Retail Operations Manager will be responsible for managing a prestigious contract around North London, Hertfordshire and Northamptonshire. The role is to ensure the delivery of a high quality service to all the sites, to monitor the correct provision of the contracted hours for the sites and to act as the single point of contact for the client. You will also be required to supervise the provision of weekly and periodic reporting which will ensure meeting and exceeding the set KPIs.

The right person will have preferably five years experience of managing operational and technical security function within a large organisation. Good Knowledge of Security in a Retail environment. Ability to undertake investigations following best practice in a confidential manner. Capacity to manage multiple complex projects and tasks and construct concise, comprehensive reports. Previous experience of resource planning, training and general people management.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

· To have strong communication and influencing skills.
· Proven ability to carry out site visits and security audits and then collate, interpret and use the information obtained.
· Ability to prepare and manage operational and project budgets.
· Strong report writing and Computer Skills.
· An in-depth knowledge of the security industry, particularly in the retail sector and the ability to interpret, implement ‘best practice’.
· Capable of implementing strategy and development of policy and procedures.
· Strong man management and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to communicate at all levels of the organisation.
· Must be flexible and diplomatic with ability to constructively challenge existing practices.
· Ability to manage diverse group of employees.
