Job Description
Our client a major national security company has a
requirement for an experienced contract manager to
manage a small public sector contract whose main role
is to ensure a safer and more pleasant environment
within a defined area for local residents and visitors.

Whilst part of the role is to manage the small team the
emphasis of the position is to maintain and develop
effective relationships with other interested and
involved groups such as the local authorities, police,
other public and private service providers to ensure
the profile of the initiative is continually improving.

A background in the forces or police would be a distinct
advantage particularly if this has been combined with
experience in developing relationships with external
bodies. The role requires strong interpersonal skills, a
good knowledge of police procedures, a sensitive
approach and ideally some contact with the general
public. This may have been combined with more
recent experience of working within the commercial
security sector.
