DAY CONTROL ROOM SUPERVISOR

Job Description
Our client is a large Guarding company, looking for a Day Supervisor to work 4 shifts on 4 shifts off, days only at 6.30am – 6.30pm, based in Northamptonshire.

The National Control is a 24/7communication centre. Control provides a centre of knowledge and acts as a control & communications point to ensure all Customer Contractual Obligations are met. Control also ensures that the welfare of all the Officers is monitored.

The key tasks and accountabilities of the role are as follows:

· To supervise Day Controllers and Retail Controllers.
· To ensure that all telephones are answered in a professional manner, the Emergency Line is answered within 3 rings and the Automated Duress system is responded to.
· To ensure that all Officers, Book-On & make routine Check Calls.
· To provide assistance and advice for all Managers & in both routine & emergency situations.
· To communicate and liaise with Support Offices & Head Office Staff.
· To provide assistance and advice for all Area Supervisors in both routine & emergency situations.
· Any other duties as directed by the Control Room Manager. Advise fellow employees when unsafe acts and/or conditions occur through undertaking regular Self-Inspections of the workplace.

The right candidate will have previously worked in a Control Room environment at Supervisory level, having managed a team. Must have attention to detail and be able to communicate at all levels. Excellent opportunity for future progression.
