Job Description
Our client has x3 vacancies within The National Control & Communications Centre (Control) which is a 24/7 communication centre. The Control Room provides a centre of knowledge and acts as a control & communications point to ensure all our Customer Contractual Obligations are met.

They are seeking a Night Controller, Day Controller and Retail Controller (Days) working 4 shifts on 4 shifts off. Day Controller 6.30am –6.30pm, Night Controller 6.30pm – 6.30am.

The main responsibilities of the role will include the following:
· To answer all telephones in a professional manner.
· To ensure that the Emergency Line is answered within 3 rings.
· To ensure that all Officers, Book-On & make routine CheckCALLs.
· To provide assistance and advice for all Managers in both routine & emergency situations.
· To communicate and liaise with Support Centres and Head Office Staff where appropriate.
· To provide assistance and advice for all Officers & Area Supervisors in both routine & emergency situations.
· To ensure that all received & authorised roster changes are entered into the system.
· Any other duties as directed by the Control Room Manager or Day Supervisor.

PERSON SPECIFICATION
· Excellent interpersonal skills, professional telephone manner, computer literacy, attention to detail and a positive outlook.
· To cover any shifts that are down for the week.
· To record figures.
· Generate unallocated report, update spreadsheet and send out to Managers
