DISTRIBUTION SITE SECURITY SUPERVISOR

Job Description
Advance Security have been established in 1957 and now employs more than 3,000 personnel across the UK with an annual turnover exceeding £64 million. We are members of the Approved Contractor Scheme operated by the Security Industry Authority and also hold the NSI Gold Award throughout their business, operating to all applicable British Standards as a minimum.
We are currently seeking a Site Security Supervisor for one of our Clients Distribution sites, based in the Enfield Area.

The main purpose of the role will be the effective operation of the security service at a Distribution site in Enfield


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:-

1. Develop and maintain good working relationships with the clients and ensure that site safety and welfare is of paramount importance, discuss issues and agree solutions promptly.
2. Maintain performance levels in order to achieve client satisfaction by effective security provision of the site
3. Regularly review the performance, development and welfare needs of the team.
4. Liaise regularly with the Recruitment Department on all relevant issues and ensure up to date information about vacancies is readily available
5. Ensure that Health & Safety procedures are in place and risk assessments are reviewed regularly in accordance with the assignment instructions.
6. In addition to these functions, you could be required to undertake such other duties as may be reasonably required.
7. Direct line management responsibility in accordance with the retail Business Plan (excluding disciplinary and grievance issues) for all site based officers

• Proven management experience
• Previous operational experience within the security industry
• Flexibility
• SIA License
• Sound decision making skills
• Good interpersonal skills
