Location: 10 Lewis Cubitt Square, N1C - P2 Building

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off - Days and nights 07:00-19:00 / 19:00-07:00

About the Role:

Periodic patrols of the building's internal and external are required for this role. Requires a person to be proactive and have a good background in the security industry and to be knowledgeable about standard security practices. The role calls for a variety of tasks from escorting to interacting with visitors and contractors and answering their queries. Additionally, you will be working under general supervision and typically reporting to the Supervisor. In cases where making a decision is necessary, initiative will also be required, as well as the ability to explain the thinking behind a choice.

Duties:

· Regular patrol of the property on foot securing assets, doors, and ensuring the perimeter is secured in all weather conditions

· Communicating any irregularities with management

· Perform building and equipment inspections

· Guarding access points and permitting or refusing entry

· Complete daily reports, including relevant information and obtaining contractor signatures for work permit sign offs

· Always be visible and alert, extending a kind welcome to staff, visitors, and contractors

· Be observant at all times

· Escorting visitors and contractors to various locations within the building

· Compiling incident reports after dealing with situations which require reporting to management

· Work together with other security personnel to provide efficient safety and protection.

· Reporting building related issues onto Vicinitee building management system

· Checking to ensure plantrooms and other electrical / mechanical areas are closed securely

· Monitoring contractor works

· Assisting with annual power shutdowns for the building

About You:

You must work well in a team and have effective communication skills to ensure information is passed on correctly in order to succeed in this position. This will ideally demand someone with an excellent understanding of spoken and written English as well as great radio etiquettes. As a patrol officer, you will also need to be physically fit and proactive at all times in order to handle situations within the building as they arise.

You must be customer-focused, able to maintain composure in stressful situations, and capable of using logic to deal with issues and also be able to justify the reasonings. You must also possess a current SIA Door Supervisor licence.
