· Giving a detailed summary of events to the Security Manager
· Keep the incident report listing updated
· Keep up to date with all relevant zone charts and demise plans
· Regular patrols around plantrooms and other vital locations, susceptible to activations
· Monitoring of the fire panel to ensure normal functions
· Keeping the fire logbook updated (RFB)
· Communicating any irregularities with management
About You:
In this position you will work closely with the fire control centre officers, communicating effectively between each other.

Duties:
· Regular patrol of the property on foot securing assets, doors, and ensuring the perimeter is secured in all weather conditions
· Communicating any irregularities with management
· Perform building and equipment inspections
· Guarding access points and permitting or refusing entry
· Complete daily reports, including relevant information and obtaining contractor signatures for work permit sign offs
· Always be visible and alert, extending a kind welcome to staff, visitors, and contractors
· Be observant at all times
· Escorting visitors and contractors to various locations within the building
· Compiling incident reports after dealing with situations which require reporting to management
· Work together with other security personnel to provide efficient safety and protection.
